Collection

Every offer includes free collection from your home. You never have to transport the scooter, arrange a courier or pay for delivery.

How is collection arranged?

When you accept an offer, your contact details are shared with that dealer only. The dealer then contacts you to agree a date and time that works for you. Most collections happen within a few days, and many dealers can offer evening or weekend slots.

Where do you collect from?

Our dealer network covers England, Scotland and Wales, including rural areas. If you live somewhere particularly remote, a dealer may decline to bid — you will see that on your dashboard along with any note they leave, such as 'sorry, too far'.

How should I prepare?

Make sure the scooter is accessible and not blocked in by furniture, gather the charger, keys and any manuals, and remove personal belongings from baskets and pockets. If the scooter does not drive, let the dealer know in advance so they can bring ramps or extra help.

What happens on the day?

The scooter is collected directly by the mobility shop, so they are already familiar with collecting and operating mobility scooters. They bring their own ramps and equipment if needed, load the scooter themselves, check it matches your description, confirm the agreed price and pay you. The whole visit usually takes fifteen minutes or less.

Frequently asked questions

Is collection really free?+

Yes. Collection is included in every offer, so nothing is deducted from the price you accept.

How soon can my scooter be collected?+

Most collections are arranged within a few days of accepting an offer, at a time that suits you.

Do I need to be there for collection?+

Yes, or a trusted adult acting on your behalf, since payment is made in person and ID may be checked.

What if my scooter does not drive?+

Tell the dealer when arranging collection. They will bring their own ramps and equipment to load it safely.

Do I need to load the scooter myself?+

No. The dealer collects the scooter directly from your home and loads it themselves. They are experienced with mobility scooters and bring the ramps and equipment they need.

How will I be paid on collection?+

Most dealers offer the choice of cash or bank transfer, but some are bank transfer only. Where it is bank transfer, the driver will confirm payment has been received before leaving with the mobility scooter. Cash payments are made before the scooter is loaded into the van.
