How is collection arranged?
When you accept an offer, your contact details are shared with that dealer only. The dealer then contacts you to agree a date and time that works for you. Most collections happen within a few days, and many dealers can offer evening or weekend slots.
Where do you collect from?
Our dealer network covers England, Scotland and Wales, including rural areas. If you live somewhere particularly remote, a dealer may decline to bid — you will see that on your dashboard along with any note they leave, such as 'sorry, too far'.
How should I prepare?
Make sure the scooter is accessible and not blocked in by furniture, gather the charger, keys and any manuals, and remove personal belongings from baskets and pockets. If the scooter does not drive, let the dealer know in advance so they can bring ramps or extra help.
What happens on the day?
The scooter is collected directly by the mobility shop, so they are already familiar with collecting and operating mobility scooters. They bring their own ramps and equipment if needed, load the scooter themselves, check it matches your description, confirm the agreed price and pay you. The whole visit usually takes fifteen minutes or less.
